If you earned interest, paid certain interest, or had investment activity with RMO during the year, RMO will send you the tax documents you need to file. The exact forms depend on which accounts you hold.
Tax documents RMO may send you:
- Form 1099-INT — if you earned interest on an RMO deposit account such as a savings account or CD (generally issued when interest reaches the reporting threshold).
- Form 1098 — the mortgage interest statement, if you have an RMO home loan, showing deductible mortgage interest you paid.
- Form 1098-E — student loan interest you paid, if you have an RMO student loan.
- Forms 1099-DIV, 1099-B, or 1099-R — for dividends, investment sales, or retirement account distributions through RMO Investments.
When they arrive: most tax forms are issued by January 31. Certain investment-related forms may be sent later in the filing season.
Where to find them: sign in to MyRMO and look under your statements and documents section — tax forms are posted there for download. If you have opted into paper, they are also mailed to your address on file. Make sure your contact information is current.
RMO provides these forms but does not give tax advice. For help filing, see RMO Tax Services.
