RMO 401(k) is an employer-sponsored retirement plan administered through RMO Investments, Inc., a separate entity from RMO Bank. Eligible employees can defer a percentage of their pay into a tax-advantaged account that grows over time.
How a 401(k) works:
- Your employer sets up the plan and chooses RMO Investments, Inc. as the recordkeeper / advisor.
- You enroll and select what percentage of each paycheck to contribute.
- Contributions are deducted pre-tax (traditional) or after-tax (Roth, where offered).
- Money is invested in funds you select from the plan's investment menu.
- The account grows tax-deferred (or tax-free, for Roth contributions) until you take distributions in retirement.
Why members use RMO 401(k):
- Tax-advantaged retirement saving.
- Possible employer matching contributions (depends on the plan).
- Investment menu curated by RMO Investments, Inc.
- Online access through MyRMO alongside the rest of your RMO accounts.
Important: Investment products are not FDIC insured, not bank guaranteed, and may lose value. Past performance does not guarantee future results. See full disclosures at the bottom of the RMO 401(k) page.
