If you have an outstanding balance with RMO or an RMO partner, understanding the collections process can help you resolve the matter efficiently.
How It Works:
- Notification: You will receive written notification about the outstanding balance, including the amount owed, the original creditor, and your rights under applicable law.
- Contact: An RMO Collections Expert will reach out to discuss your situation and explore resolution options. All communications are conducted in accordance with federal and state debt collection regulations.
- Resolution Options: Depending on your circumstances, you may be offered payment in full, a structured payment plan, or a settlement arrangement. The Expert will work with you to find a manageable solution.
- Payment: Payments can be made through MyRMO, by phone, or by mail. Automated payment plans can be set up through MyRMO for convenience.
- Confirmation: Once your balance is resolved, you will receive written confirmation. RMO will update reporting to credit bureaus accordingly.
Your Rights: You have the right to request verification of the debt, dispute the balance, and receive fair and respectful treatment throughout the process.
To discuss your account, schedule an appointment through MyRMO or by calling us to speak with an Expert.
