Do Not Sell My Information (CCPA) | RMO

RMO respects your privacy rights. This page explains your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and similar state privacy laws, and how to exercise them.

Last Updated: April 1, 2026

Your Privacy Rights

Under the CCPA and other applicable state privacy laws, you have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. RMO does not sell personal information for monetary consideration. However, certain data sharing activities may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" under applicable law.

What This Means

The CCPA defines "sale" broadly to include certain types of data sharing, even without monetary exchange. Some of our business activities — such as sharing information with advertising partners for targeted advertising or sharing data with affiliates for cross-marketing — may fall within this definition. You have the right to opt out of these activities.

Categories of Information

Categories of personal information that may be shared include identifiers (name, email, IP address), internet activity (browsing history, interactions with our sites), and inferences drawn from your profile. Financial account information used to service your accounts is not subject to this opt-out, as it is shared under applicable financial privacy laws (GLBA).

How to Opt Out

You may submit a Do Not Sell My Information request using any of the following methods:

  • Log into your MyRMO account and navigate to Privacy Settings
  • Call us at (888) 764-3448
  • Submit a request through our Contact Us page
  • Visit any RMO Retail Center

Verification

We may need to verify your identity before processing your request. We will use information you have previously provided to us for verification purposes. If we cannot verify your identity, we may request additional information.

Additional CCPA Rights

In addition to the right to opt out of the sale of personal information, California residents have the right to:

  • Know — Request what personal information we collect, use, and share
  • Delete — Request deletion of your personal information, subject to exceptions
  • Correct — Request correction of inaccurate personal information
  • Non-Discrimination — We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights

Authorized Agents

You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. The authorized agent must provide proof of authorization, and we may still require you to verify your identity directly. To designate an agent, contact our member services team with a signed authorization or power of attorney.

Response Timeline

We will acknowledge your request within 10 business days and respond substantively within 45 calendar days. If additional time is needed, we will notify you of the extension and the reason for it. Extensions may not exceed an additional 45 days.
