Opening an RMO checking account is straightforward and can be done entirely online through MyRMO or by scheduling an appointment with an Expert.
To open online through MyRMO:
- Visit the RMO Bank website and select "Open an Account," or log in to your existing MyRMO profile.
- Choose the checking account tier that best fits your needs (MyEveryday, MyFirst, MySecure, or MyUltimate).
- Provide your personal information including full legal name, date of birth, Social Security Number (SSN), and current address.
- Upload a valid government-issued photo ID (driver's license, state ID, or passport).
- Fund your account with the required initial deposit. Minimum opening deposits vary by tier.
- Review and accept the account disclosures and terms.
To open by appointment: Schedule an appointment through MyRMO or by calling us. An Expert will guide you through the process and answer any questions. Please bring a valid photo ID, your SSN, and proof of address (such as a utility bill or lease agreement).
