Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of protection to your MyRMO account by requiring a second verification step in addition to your password.

How to Enable 2FA:

  1. Log in to MyRMO on the web or mobile app.
  2. Go to "Settings" and then "Security Settings."
  3. Select "Two-Factor Authentication" and choose your preferred method:
  • Text Message (SMS): A one-time passcode is sent to your registered mobile phone number each time you log in from a new device.
  • Email: A one-time passcode is sent to your registered email address.
  • Authenticator App: Use a compatible authenticator app (such as Google Authenticator or Authy) to generate time-based codes.
  1. Verify by entering the code from your chosen method.
  2. Save your settings. 2FA is now active.

When 2FA Is Required: You will be prompted for the second factor when logging in from a new device or browser, after clearing your cookies, or when making sensitive changes such as updating your password or contact information.

Tip: We strongly recommend enabling 2FA using an authenticator app for the highest level of security. If you lose access to your 2FA method, schedule an appointment through MyRMO or by calling us for identity verification and account recovery with an Expert.
