RMO Financial Protection is a safety-net program designed to help you cover essential living expenses if you experience an involuntary income disruption such as job loss, a qualifying medical event, or a natural disaster.
Plan Tiers:
- MyShield I: Provides a monthly benefit to cover basic necessities such as groceries and utilities for up to 3 months.
- MyShield II: Covers housing costs (rent or mortgage) in addition to basic necessities for up to 6 months.
- MyShield III: Includes all MyShield II benefits plus transportation, childcare, and medical copay assistance for up to 9 months.
- MyShield IV: Our most comprehensive plan, covering all MyShield III benefits plus student loan or debt payments, professional development expenses, and job placement support for up to 12 months.
How It Works:
You pay a monthly premium based on your selected tier. If a qualifying event occurs, you file a claim through MyRMO. Once approved, benefit payments are deposited directly into your RMO account on a monthly basis for the duration specified by your plan.
