Filing a service request through your RMO home protection plan is simple and can be done at any time through MyRMO.
Steps to Request Service:
- Log in to MyRMO and navigate to "Protection" then "Home Protection."
- Select "Request Service."
- Identify the item that needs repair (e.g., heating system, dishwasher, plumbing).
- Describe the issue in as much detail as possible. Include when the problem started and any error codes or symptoms.
- Choose your preferred appointment window for the service visit.
- Submit the request. You will receive a confirmation with your service order number.
What Happens Next:
- An RMO-approved service Expert is assigned to your request, typically within 24–48 hours.
- The Expert will contact you to confirm the appointment time.
- At the time of service, you pay the flat service call fee. The Expert diagnoses and, if covered, repairs or replaces the item.
- If a replacement is needed and parts must be ordered, the Expert will schedule a follow-up visit.
You can track the status of your service request at any time in MyRMO under "My Service Requests." For urgent issues, schedule an appointment through MyRMO or by calling us.
