If you notice unauthorized transactions or suspect your RMO account has been compromised, act quickly to protect your finances.
Immediate Steps:
- Lock your cards: Log in to MyRMO and go to Card Management. Lock all debit and credit cards linked to your account to prevent further unauthorized use.
- Change your password: Update your MyRMO password immediately from Settings > Security Settings.
- Review recent transactions: Go through your transaction history in MyRMO and flag any charges you do not recognize.
- Report the fraud: Call us to speak with an Expert who specializes in fraud resolution. You can also submit a fraud report through the "Security Center" in MyRMO.
What RMO Will Do:
- Open a fraud investigation on your behalf.
- Issue provisional credits for confirmed unauthorized transactions while the investigation is underway.
- Deactivate compromised cards and issue replacements.
- Place enhanced monitoring on your account.
Protect Yourself Going Forward:
- Enable two-factor authentication on MyRMO.
- Set up transaction alerts for all purchases.
- Never share your password, PIN, or one-time passcodes with anyone.
RMO will never ask you for your full password, PIN, or one-time security code via phone, email, or text. If someone does, it is a scam.
