Mobile check deposit lets you deposit a paper check from anywhere by photographing it with the MyRMO mobile app — no trip to a branch or ATM required.

How to make a mobile deposit:

  1. Endorse the check. Sign the back, and if prompted, write "For mobile deposit at RMO only" beneath your signature.
  2. Open the MyRMO app and go to the Deposits section.
  3. Choose the account the money should go into and enter the check amount.
  4. Photograph the front and back of the check in good lighting on a flat, dark surface.
  5. Review the details and submit. You will receive a confirmation.

A few good habits:

  • Keep the paper check until the deposit fully clears, then mark it as deposited and destroy it.
  • Make sure the amount you enter matches the check exactly.
  • Deposit limits may apply — large checks may be better deposited at an RMO Retail Center.
