Mobile check deposit lets you deposit a paper check from anywhere by photographing it with the MyRMO mobile app — no trip to a branch or ATM required.
How to make a mobile deposit:
- Endorse the check. Sign the back, and if prompted, write "For mobile deposit at RMO only" beneath your signature.
- Open the MyRMO app and go to the Deposits section.
- Choose the account the money should go into and enter the check amount.
- Photograph the front and back of the check in good lighting on a flat, dark surface.
- Review the details and submit. You will receive a confirmation.
When will the funds be available? Part or all of a mobile deposit may be subject to a hold before you can spend it — see why there is a hold on a deposit. Check your available balance in MyRMO to see when funds clear.
A few good habits:
- Keep the paper check until the deposit fully clears, then mark it as deposited and destroy it.
- Make sure the amount you enter matches the check exactly.
- Deposit limits may apply — large checks may be better deposited at an RMO Retail Center.
